Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FCRatings.com (the “Site”), operated by FCRatings.com (“FCRatings”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By visiting, browsing, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors. FCRatings.com does not offer user accounts, registration, comments, or any other feature that requires you to submit content; you can read these Terms as describing the rules for visiting and reading the Site.

About FCRatings

FCRatings is an independent fan site that aggregates and organizes player ratings, attributes, and statistical data for EA Sports FC. We compile data from EA Sports’ published dataset and present it in a browsable format. We are not affiliated with EA Sports, FIFA, the FC Series, or any associated football leagues, federations, clubs, or players.

Permitted Use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. This includes:

  • Viewing pages and content for personal interest or research
  • Sharing links to specific pages on the Site
  • Quoting brief excerpts of our editorial content with proper attribution to FCRatings.com

Prohibited Use

You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots, crawlers, downloaders) to access or collect data from the Site
  • Reproduce, copy, redistribute, republish, sell, license, or commercially exploit any data, ratings, content, or design elements from the Site
  • Frame, embed, or mirror the Site or any substantial portion of its content on another website
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site’s operation, security, or performance, including through denial of service attacks, exploitation of vulnerabilities, or excessive automated requests
  • Use the Site or its data to train machine learning models or AI systems without express written permission
  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws, infringes the rights of others, or could damage, disable, or impair the Site

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access, legal action, or both.

Intellectual Property

The compilation, organization, design, layout, code, editorial content, and original commentary on the Site are the property of FCRatings.com and are protected by copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property laws.

Player names, club names, league names, team logos, kit designs, and similar trademarks displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners, including but not limited to EA Sports, FIFA, individual football clubs and leagues, and the players themselves. These are used for identification and informational purposes only under principles of fair use and nominative use.

The underlying player rating data is published by EA Sports as part of EA Sports FC. We do not claim ownership of the ratings themselves; we claim only the compilation and presentation.

Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

We make reasonable efforts to keep player ratings, attributes, and other data accurate and current. However, the Site is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The data on the Site is accurate, complete, or current at any given moment
  • The Site will be available without interruption or error
  • Any errors will be corrected
  • The Site is free of viruses or other harmful components

Decisions made based on data presented on the Site, including transfer decisions in Ultimate Team, fantasy football choices, or other gameplay decisions, are at your own risk.

Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or any harm that may arise from your use of them. Links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement.

Advertising

The Site displays advertising served by third-party advertising networks, including Freestar and its partners such as Google AdSense. These networks use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements, and inclusion of an advertisement does not imply endorsement of the advertised product or service. Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to clear, complete notices of alleged copyright infringement consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar international laws.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] including:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The exact URL on FCRatings.com where the allegedly infringing material is located
  • Your contact information (name, email, mailing address, phone)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on its behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We may remove allegedly infringing material pending investigation. Knowingly submitting false notices may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FCRatings.com, its operators, owners, agents, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site, including without limitation loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability for all claims arising from or related to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FCRatings.com, its operators, owners, agents, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FCRatings.com operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site should first be raised with us at [email protected] for informal resolution before any formal proceedings.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or communicated through other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Site after revisions become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FCRatings.com regarding your use of the Site, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
